We ran the Resolution Run 5k this morning. My time was 32:30. Not super fast but I did run every bit of it, which is something I haven't been able to do in years. My knees didn't hurt and my quads never got tired. Hip flexors were killing me though. Need to do more flutter kicks or something.

warm-up: trunk/arm/neck rot, 2 burpees (doing the challenge - I did one "real" push-up and one knee push-up), push-up/sqts (8-6-2), overhead sqts 3x5
workout:
manmakers x 30 - 25 minutes - OMG!
So here's the deal. I didn't use the 10lb wts the whole time. I used 10lb wts for the first 2 (I know!), then I switched to 8lb wts for the next 10 and 5lb wts for the rest. My arms felt really weak today, even during the warm up. Don't give me that look!! ;)
Thank you for the invite to the resolution run yesterday! John was totally pumped about it all day. He even wore his hoodie to work today. Thx a million!

Looks like you scaled the workout properly. Remember to keep the rest to a minimum, as long as you can maintain good form.
